Hello

Hey Everyone!

Thanks for coming to our blog! We're just getting started on blogging and it's a lot of fun!

Well, to start we have been married now for about 3 months and 3 weeks. Time has flown! We are loving married life and spending so much time with each other. We both work full time so when we are together we have a lot of fun bike riding, gardening, watching movies, going out to eat, and making dinner at home. We love trying new recipes from the many cook books that we got from our wedding. Some of our favorites are; chicken biscuit pot-pie, roasted turkey in the oven with mashed potatoes, and homemade lasagna.

In this short time of being married a few funny things have happened:

One day while Brad was taking a nap I decided to make a delicious homemade pizza. With Italian tomato paste, parsley and oregano, I was sure it was going to be fantastic. I spent a lot of time making it perfect because I wanted to impress him with my domesticity. (Being newly weds and all). So I quickly stuck it in the oven for 20 minutes and relaxed on the couch. Ten minutes later clouds of smoke rapidly filled the room. Once I could smell the smoke I sprung off the couch. Running over to the oven, I looked inside and it was filled with flames. Panicking, I ran into our room and said "BRAD THERE'S A FIRE!!" He jumped off the bed and I grabbed the extinguisher. When he got to the oven I saw him look inside the window and he was squinting a little bit. He slowly opened the oven door and stuck his head inside. All that was there was a tiny little flame. He blew a little puff of air and it was out. Grinning, he looked me and said "I took care of it honey."
